Welcome to Classrooms Sharing Places.

You might know me from over at I Love My Classroom. The idea for this blog started this summer when Postcard Exchange Sign Ups were flying over the internet. The idea behind the Postcard Exchange is to be a part of a group - one classroom per state, and then when school starts postcards are mailed to each other. Your students learn about different places, and it makes this world feel a little smaller.

It's a wonderful idea, though so many more teachers, classrooms, and countries would like to participate too.

I'm going to be honest, for this blog to work it will need your support and input - I'm just the host, you are the authors. I see a need that teachers and classrooms want to learn about other places in the country and world. This is a place to share about your area, state, and school that everyone can learn from. No postage needed. :)

I made up some templates that you are welcome to use.

Or break it into 2 pages if you need more room. If you have Powerpoint, just "pull" the images onto the Powerpoint, and then add a text box on top to write your answers. You can do this with your class, you can add pictures... just make sure it's all okay to be shown on the internet. Then email it to me.

I'll look it over, and if it's ready to go, I'll schedule it on the blog. I'd love to have a long list of places, states, and countries that classrooms could learn about this coming year. An insider look if you will.
